Certified dental assistants and dental hygienists seeking employment may submit information for posting on this website for sixty days at no charge. Submit the ad information to us in an email or as a Word document attachment. Employment contacts will come directly to you from any interested dental offices. Please notify the DSDS office when you have been employed.
Member dentists may post employment opportunities at no charge for sixty days byemailing DSDS the ad copy for the position. Potential employees will contact your officedirectly. Please notify the DSDS office when a position is filled.
The classified section is available for sale of dental equipment, sale of practice, etc., and is up to 25 words at a cost of $50.00 for DSDS members for a one-month posting.
Employment ads for Delaware non-member dentists cost $250.00 for a one-monthposting.
Ads can be placed for businesses, corporations and others beginning at $250.00 for a one-month posting.

This position also involves patient care, recordkeeping, and practice support services. Children's dentistry - We see patients from age 1-20. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare treatment areas and patients for dental procedures. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards. Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures to ensure patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Take and record patient medical and dental histories, including vital signs. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) in accordance with certification. Document treatment notes accurately in patient records. Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Clean and polish removable dental appliances. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when needed. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed at all times. Maintain CPR certification and assist in dental and medical emergencies when necessary. Represent the practice in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner at all times.
