Whether you are brand new to the world of CBCT imaging or have been using the technology for years, a solid foundational understanding of CBCT interpretation is crucial for patient evaluation and proper treatment planning. This course will introduce the concepts of image manipulation, interpretation strategies, and radiographic principles to help clinicians better utilize the 3D imaging available to them. Through the discussion, clinicians will develop a systematic and reproducible method to review image volumes that will improve productivity and minimize interpretation time without sacrificing diagnostic accuracy.

- Develop a routine for evaluation of the craniofacial structures captured on CBCT scans

About the Speaker
Dr. Barett Andreasen (Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, DDS) founded Radiodontics to unite dental professionals and oral and maxillofacial radiologists in improving patient care and satisfaction. Radiodontics is an online service offering comprehensive dental radiology reports.
After obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Andreasen completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. While at UCLA, Dr. Andreasen worked closely with world renown specialists in Oral and Craniofacial Surgery, Orofacial Pain, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, and other specialties.
Dr. Andreasen has since moved to Utah with his wife and three children, where he enjoys playing soccer, hiking, camping, and being free from the Los Angeles traffic.
